Soap nuts are Mother's nature gift for laundry cleaning.
We can use it for many purposes:
Laundry detergent
all-purpose cleaner
pet shampoo
pesticide
liquid dish soap
mosquito repellent
hand soap
Originally found in India and Nepal, in the mountains of the Himalayas, these are dried berries from Sapindus Mukorossi tree .100% natural these shells contain natural soap called Saponin that when in contact with water realizes surfactants.
a great alternative to all the chemicals that contaminates our waters and are often harsh to the skin. Suitable for baby clothes washing.
How to use: Place 4-6 shells inside the cotton bag and tighten the knot firmly to make sure shells won't come out during the wash. Through the bag inside the machine together with the clothes (in the inner drum). Once the washing cycle is over, remove the bag and let it dry. You can reuse the same soap nuts 3 -4 times after that you can add them to your compost or simply put them in the trash bin; they will totally biodegrade.
* The nuts smell a bit earthy; we recommend adding some essential oil drops to the cotton bag.
Note: as the soap nuts are actually berries, it's completely safe for people with nut allergies.
They come in a reused glass bottle, 100g unseeded soap nuts and one 100% cotton bag (10x10cm)
